Finally an update... Enfin une mis a jour....

Being the 24th of February, it's quite difficult to remember what we've been up to over the past months... and yes I know, if only we kept the blog up to date, I wouldn't be sitting right now wondering how to summarised 3 months into a bitesize post.
So here are a lot of photos...
Etant le 24 Fevrier, c'est plutot difficile de se souvenir se qu'on a ces derniers mois... et oui je sais, si seulement nous avions garder le blog a jour, je ne serai pas assise la entrain de me demander comment je vais pouvoir resumer 3 mois dans un petit post facile a digerer. Donc voila plein de photos...

Last post, we'd just left Sicily. So once in Italy, we visited Pompeii, the buried city near Naples. Big site, quite litterally a city, pretty impressive... Somewhat disapointed that there wasn't more of them plaster cast people around the place... s'pose they take them in for winter.
Au dernier post, nous avions juste quitter la Sicile. Donc une fois en Italie, nous avons visiter Pompeii, la cite enfouie pres de Naples. Un tres grand site, une ville tout simplement, c'etait tres impressionant... Quelque peu decu qu'il n'y ai pas les gens/moule en platre un peu partout... peut etre qu'ils les rentrent pour l'hiver.


     

After Pompeii, the plan was to head up to Rome, but considering the weather and our complete lack of energy, we just kept driving and ended up back in France at the grand parents...
Apres Pompeii, l'idee c'etait d'aller a Roma, mais vu le temps et le fait qu'on etait completement crever, on a continuer tout droit et nous nous sommes retrouver de retour en France chez les grands parents...

 

And somehow the months just flew by. We moved into my mum's little chalet and made it a kip, aherm I mean a home... :p
Et les mois on filler d'une certaine facon. Nous avons emmenager dans le petit chalet a maman et on y a foutu le bordel, hmmm je veux dire on en a fait notre petit chez nous... :p

We went to the Montbeliard christmass market... Kathy was over excited about the donkey... oh yeah and the shops were nice too...
Nous sommes aller au marcher de noel a Montbeliard... Kathy etait super heureuse de voire un ane... ah oui et les stand etait cool....

   

We hosted xmas dinner, nearly the whole familly was here... wayyyyy too much food, but heaps of fun cooking and preparing the decorations, home made since we're stingy and had time... :) oh yeah and Kathy was Santa... :)
Nous nous sommes charger du repas de noel, presque toute la famille etait la... beaucoup trop de bouffe, mais on s'est bien amuser a tout cuisiner et a preparer les decorations de noel, faite maison puisqu'on est rapia et qu'on avait le temps... :) ah oui et Kathy etait le papa noel... :)


  



We played in the snow... notice the (yet again) home made snow boots... made with pellet bags (the stuff we used to heat the chalet...)
Nous avons jouer dans la neige... remarquez les bottes de neige (bien evidament) faitent maison... avec les vieux sac a pellets (du chauffage au chalet...)


  

We caught a glips of a solar eclipse and had our van's engine eaten by rats (and no, am not joking... twice actually...)
Nous avons apercu une eclipse solaire et notre camion s'est fait bouffer par des rats (et nan, je ne deconne pas... 2 fois en faite...)



Kathy finally finished that 9000 pieces puzzle she started a while back... just to break it all up right away...
Kathy a enfin fini son puzzle de 9000 piece qu'elle avait commence y'a un moment... rien que pour tout demomter tout de suite apres...


 

We then help papy with some clearing out... pulled down walls and stuff... found mummified rats and mice skeletons.
Nous avons aussi aider papy avec un peu de menage... on a arracher des murs.... on a trouver des rat momifier et des squelettes de souris.

   

We have now moved back to the grandparents, planning our next leg that will start in a few days, interrailing through the whole of Eastern Europe, bringing us to the gates of Asia, Istanbul... 13 countries, 19 cities in 31 days... on less than 5 grands... bring it on... :)
Et maintenant, nous avons re-emmenager chez papy mamie, entrain de preparer nous prochain voyage, depart dans quelque jour, en train dans toute l'Europe de l'Est ce qui va nous emmenez jusqu'aux porte de l'Asie, Istanbul... 13 pays, 19 villes en 31 jours... pour moins de 5000 euro... allons y... :)
