Day/Jour 362 - 29/05/11
We discovered some more of Berlin today. More symbolic bears and sites. From the Berlin Wall East Side Gallery to Checkpoint Charlie, the city offers an interesting history. There is so much more to see and do but unfortuantely we are out of time, next time, definately.
Nous avons decouvert un peu plus de Berlin aujourd'hui. Encore plus d'ours... De la Gallerie East Side ou on peut trouver un bon bout de mur encore debout jusqu'au Checkpoint Charlie, la ville a un passer plutot interessant a offrir. Il y a tellement d'autre chose a voir mais malheureusement, on a pas trop de temps, la prochaine fois, c'est sure.
We also went by Brandenburg Gate again only to find Greenpeace taking over the major tourist attraction. A symbol of peace between the east and west, what better place to make a statement by draping huge banners from the top.
Nous sommes egalement repasser devant la Branderburg Tor pour y trouver Greenpeace entrain de s'appropier cette attraction touristique. Le symbol de la paix entre l'Est et l'Ouest, pas mal comme endroit pour une protestation.
Day/Jour 363 - 30/05/11
After waking up to the nicest view we've had so far on a motorway rest stop, we headed towards Lubben in Spreewald National Park.
Apres s'etre reveiller avec la vue la plus sympa qu'on ai eu jusqu'a present sur une aire d'autoroute, nous sommes partit direction Lubben dans le Parc National de Spreewald.
There we rented out a canoe and went off to discover just a tiny portion (7-8 km) of the over 1300km long canal system in the area. And of course we stopped for ice-cream.
La, on a loue un canoe et sommes parties a la decouverte que d'une toute petite protion (7 a 8 km) du reseau de canaux de plus de 1300km du parc. Et bien sure, on s'est arreter pour une petite glace.
