A Lot Of Water... Beaucoup d'Eau...

Jour/Day 459 - 03/09/11
Today we departed for our last and final leg, very sad but very excited as well. Karine's grandparents followed us out but we split ways at the end of the road, we will meet up in a week. It is also Karine's birthday so Happy Birthday.
Aujourd'hui nous sommes partit pour notre dernier voyage, triste mais super exiter. Papi, mami nous ont suivi mais on s'est separe a la national, mais bon, on se retrouve dans une semaine. Et c'est aussi mon anni, enfin 25 ans !!! :) 




We headed back to Switzerland to Geneva. We drove along Lac Leman for most of the day before and after we saw Geneva. Geneva was quite a nice town, we saw the very high water jet and the flower clock. We also came upon a cute gazebo and some nice street.
Nous sommes retourner en Suisse, et avons visiter Geneve. On a suivi le Lac Leman pendant la majoriter de la journer, avant et apres avoir visiter Geneve. Geneve est une belle ville, on y a vu le Jet d'eau, et l'orloge en fleur. On a meme trouver un beau petit gazebo et de jolie rue.

         

We then headed towards Martigny where we are spending the night... under the rain... :)
Nous sommes ensuite parti direction Martigny ou nous passons la nuit... sous la pluie... :)

Jour/Day 460 - 04/09/11
Today we visited Durnand Gorge. Not a typical walk considering we walked on a overhanging path for about 1km. By not looking down and trusting that it was safe we got through it. We saw about 14 waterfall cascades as we ascended the overhanging walkway.
Aujourd'hui nous avons visite le Gorges du Durand. Pas la ballade comme d'habitude etand donner que nous avons marche sur des passerelle d'environ 1 km qui surplombe 14 cascades, mais bon, sans trop regarder en bas et en ayant un minimum de confience, on a reussi.

    

Afterwards we drove to the Creux Du Van. Unfortunately the weather turned bad and we couldn't actually see anything into the 400m deep abyss. We decided to depart Switzerland and hope to return to see the Creux Du Van perhaps on our way back to France or sometime in the future, we seem to be never finished with Switzerland!
Apres cela, nous sommes aller au Creux du Van. Malheureusement, vu le temps pourri qu'on a eu, on a rien vu du tout de cet abysse de 400m de profondeur. Donc nous avons decide de quitter la Suisse et avec un peu de chance pouvoir y retourner a la fin de ce voyage, ou un jour plus lointain, on en finira donc jamais avec la Suisse... 

  

Jour/Day 461 - 05/09/11
Today we basically drove to the middle of France. We did find a cool water bridge in Nevers. The boats enter into a canal bridge and the water is transferred from higher to lower, thus elevating the boats up over the bridge. They then travel across the bridge to the higher end of the river. We are now staying near Tours.
Aujourd'hui nous avons rouler jusqu'au centre de la France. On a vu un pont-canal a Nevers assez interessant. Les bateaux entre dans le pont-canal et sont dessandu (et remonder) grace a des ecluses... La on est du cote de Tour.
